We are thrilled to share a transformative development for Freni: we have officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with GMB Union, marking a pivotal moment in our journey to revolutionize the ride-share industry.


This agreement solidifies our commitment to providing a fair, transparent, and driver-first platform, with the strength of one of the UK’s largest unions—boasting over 110,000 drivers and more than 600,000 total members—on our side. GMB’s partnership validates our vision, significantly strengthens our competitive edge, and lays the groundwork for accelerated growth and trust within the driver community.


Key Highlights of the Agreement:

  1. Fair Earnings and Fee Transparency: Frenzi will maintain a 57p fixed fee per journey and guarantee zero surge pricing. GMB’s endorsement amplifies our promise to create a fairer system for drivers and passengers alike.

  2. Unmatched Driver Representation: GMB will advocate for drivers on issues such as removals, disputes, and licensing, ensuring their rights are upheld. Drivers now gain union support combined with Frenzi's innovative app features.

  3. Collaborative Growth: Quarterly regional meetings and co-development of features will keep driver interests at the heart of Frenzi’s innovations, including female driver safety features and transparent fee structures.

  4. Market Penetration Support: GMB’s promotional support will enhance awareness of Frenzi among drivers nationwide, aiding in recruitment and retention.


The Signing Moment:

Last week, our COO, Zac Evans, and Operations Manager, Isaac Mayne, met with the GMB team for a formal signing ceremony. The discussions were productive and reaffirmed our mutual commitment to reshaping the ride-share landscape.
